    The Fine Print

    By Booking in your job and leaving your equipment with us, you agree to the following terms & conditions.

    Warranty Limitations
    Your equipment comes with a hardware warranty that covers you for parts and labour for repairs related to hardware faults. Your warranty does not cover Software problems or Accidental Damage. If your equipment shows signs of Physical Damage, your job will be treated as an Out-of-Warranty repair (And incur relevant costs). If the problem with your machine is diagnosed to be a result of accidental physical damage (E.G. Liquid spill), you will be charged the standard $88 diagnostic fee and given a quote on parts and labour to repair the problem. You will need to pay this charge on or before collecting. All Out-of-Warranty repairs booked in will occur the $88 minimum Diagnostic Charge.

    General Terms
    Repair Department hours are Monday-Friday from 9am to 5 PM. Repair department is closed on Weekends/Public Holidays. Items CANNOT be collected outside of these hours.


    The turnaround time for most repairs is 5-10 working Days. In some cases however longer delays of up to 20 Working days can be experienced. Upon completion of work to your equipment our technicians will attempt to notify you. The items listed above include all items left with Computer Age. Whilst all care is taken, Computer Age is not responsible for any data left on machines. You should always have a backup of your data before leaving a machine with us. Where possible we will try to recover or transfer data if you ask us to, which will incur standard labour charges. If your product is capable of storing software programs, data and other information, you should make periodic backup copies of the information contained on the storage media to protect the contents and as a precaution against possible operational failures. We reserve the right to hold equipment until all outstanding charges have been paid in full. Customers will be advised on completion of to arrange pick up of the repair. Repairs left with Computer Age will be stored for a maximum of 3 months, following which, we reserve the right to dispose of the equipment to recover any costs.

    NOTES: Computer Age will not be help liable for any data loss or loss of income suffered during the repair process undertaken by ourselves; it is your responsibility to ensure all important data is backed up prior to commencement of the repair.
